GMS highly values hands-on experiences, and that includes field trips. Teachers make every effort to visit locations that inspire and inform our students. Our past field trips have included LATV in Santa Monica, NBC Universal in Burbank, Riot Games in Santa Monica, the NFL Network studio, UCLA, CSUN, the California African American Museum, the California Science Museum, the Long Beach Aquarium, the Los Angeles Central Library, the Academy Museum, the Getty Museum and the Getty Villa, the Nethercutt Museum, the Holocaust Museum, and the historic Olvera Street, to name just a few.
